Account and Profile Settings

Your account settings let you manage your personal information: your name, email address, phone, and birthday.

How to access your account

  1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Select Account settings.

Updating your profile

Each field has a pencil icon next to it. Click the pencil to open an editor, make your change, and click Save.

  • Name: shown in emails and on pages you host.
  • Email: changes here trigger a confirmation link sent to the new address. Your sign-in email only changes after you click that link.
  • Phone: used for SMS reminders if your church has SMS enabled and you opt in. US numbers only.
  • Birthday: optional but used by churches for member directories.
  • Public profile URL: your churchday.co/u/your-name link, for sharing your public events.

Your role (Admin, Staff, Leader, or Member) is shown on this page but cannot be changed here. Only an admin can change roles.

Signing in

Churchday is passwordless. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, a magic link, or Google. There is no password to change or reset. If you cannot access the email on your account, change your email above to one you control, then sign in with the new address.

Good to know

  • If you change your email, you will need to confirm it by clicking the link sent to the new address.
  • The Security tab lets you see active sessions, sign out of other devices, download your data, or delete your account.
